Assignments for Week 3: please read carefully. Assignment is due by 6 pm the evening before you come to class.
- Create a page with advanced css techniques and proper structure as we learned in class. CSS needs to have author information as well as comments on all groupings - eg. /* header */ or links. What is important is that you structure it properly. Also remember to put a color guide.
- Make sure you have groupings of tags.
- Add @font-face and add some elements such as gradient color [not image] and add drop caps and pullout quotes as we learned in class.
- Make sure you use ids and classes the way we discussed in class. Do not put unnecessary ones.
- Try to demonstrate your knowledge of inheritance in at least one of your tags
- structure the html page to reflect your knowledge of ids and naming conventions: wrapper, container etc..
- Create a 'global.css' file.
- You may use lorem ipsum in this exercise. Structure this in such a way as to be potentially ready for your portfolio in your senior year.
- I have links for you under the CSS menu on the left side of this site.
- Once done, please zip your folder and name it properly. That is to say, name the folder: yourLastName_csshtml5.zip
- Upload zipped file to this site as attachment under the link with your name on the right side menu which is viewable only when you log in.
